Tony Bennett fan? Love those fab big band sounds? Maybe a little Gaga or the Queen or Luckenbach guitar from our favorite braided Texan floats your boat? How PBS got them all wrapped into an hour and a half is beyond me. Andrea Bocelli, Josh Groban and Michael Buble aren’t hard to look at or hear either. One of our most popular shows, “Historic Bridges of Arkansas” airs Thursday, January 26 at 6:30 p.m. This film was made to help preserve the history associated with bridges in Arkansas for future generations. The special features scenic footage of various bridges, as well as interviews. Made in partnership with the Arkansas Highway Department.

Approximately 20 percent of Arkansas ninth graders do not obtain a high school diploma, with an even higher dropout rate for black and Latino students, according to the Arkansas Department of Education and more than 1 million students drop out every year across the nation. Now the question is "How will you help save our children and collective future?"

Anna Netrebko opens the season with her portrayal of the ill-fated queen driven insane by her unfaithful king. She sings one of opera’s greatest mad scenes in this Met premiere production by David McVicar.
